Northern and Central transport corridors in East and Central Africa signed a cooperation deal to improve how goods move across borders, covering road, rail, pipelines, waterways, and climate-related transport issues. The agreement links corridors serving countries such as Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and the DRC, with a joint three-year action plan focused on digital systems, data sharing, and reducing non-tariff barriers.
