  • UAE Logistics Accelerates in 2025 on Strong Port Performance and Air Cargo Demand
December 15,2025

The UAE logistics sector is closing 2025 strongly, with the market valued at US$41 billion and projected to grow 6–7% annually through 2030, driven mainly by port expansion and multimodal investment. Khalifa Port is leading growth, rising 21% year-on-year to 9.6 million TEU and entering the global top 40, while a bonded rail corridor linking Khalifa to Fujairah, scheduled to pilot in Q4 2025, is set to improve customs efficiency and inland cargo movement. Breakbulk activity is also accelerating, with Jebel Ali recording 630,000 tonnes in October alone, reflecting rising project and industrial cargo volumes. Aviation continues to strengthen the system alongside ports, with Emirates carrying 1.25 million tonnes in H1 2025–26 and Etihad growing cargo revenue by 8%, supporting high-value and time-critical trade lanes.
