Ethiopia is set to launch its first-ever natural gas exports, marking a historic shift in its economic
strategy and driving significant demand for energy logistics infrastructure. With the completion of the
project’s first phase and official inauguration expected soon, this milestone is expected to enhance
transport, storage, and export systems—particularly along the Ethiopia–Djibouti trade corridor—
strengthening the country’s position as a regional logistics hub.
